THE CAROLE LOMBARD COLLECTION

MEET THE ARTIST

Adrian Guenther

Fort Wayne native Adrien Guenther—better known as ARG the Artist—is a Northrop High School graduate, former “Happy the Hobo” (1993–1999), and a lifelong creator whose work is as bold and unexpected as his backstory.

A husband, father, and grandfather, ARG finds inspiration in the slow wisdom of his spirit animal, the turtle, and the loyal companionship of his best friend, a Russian Tortoise named Pistachio. ARG’s art is a unique fusion of obscure vintage pop culture, creepy toys, architecture, true crime, and absurd humor. His dynamic style relies on bold color layering and an creative process he lovingly refers to as “bullying the art into existence.”

Follow his work on Instagram @ARGtheArtist, and reach out for commissions of any kind—ARG brings weird, wonderful energy to everything he creates.
